We build model ships in our workshop according to the precise wishes and requirements of private customers and business customers alike. With more than 30 years of experience with wood and model ships of all kinds, we can supply high quality custom-made, whether as a single piece, small or mass production.
We produce models of all types of vessels in any length from 40 to 600 cm.
How much does a custom-built model cost?
The price depends on the type of the ship, the size of the model and the number of models commissioned. For small or mass production we are able to offer a considerably reduced item price in comparison to a single model.
Just send us some pictures of the ship or boat with the desired length and quantity; We would be happy to provide you with an individual quote.
Which documents do you require?
We are able to work with photographs, drawings, plans and 3D / CAD data. At the very minimum we require photos of the ship you wish to commission us to model.
How long are your delivery times?
The delivery time depends on the complexity of the model, the number of models commissioned and the current workload in our manufactory. But usually we ship your order within 2-3 months. The exact delivery time, we will inform you on request.
Can I track the progress of my model while it is being built?
Throughout the manufacturing process, you will receive weekly pictures of the current production status, so that you are involved in all phases of production. This also makes it possible to make alterations during the production process, if desired.
Which materials do you use?
We craft all our model ships hulls from wood following a frame construction technique. In addition, depending on ship type is a variety of other materials such as brass, copper, stainless steel, leather and fabric used.
